Return Policy


Garage Door Part Supply Co. prides itself on making sure you are happy with the product you receive. We strive to maintain not only providing high quality parts at low prices, but also to provide the customer service that we expect while purchasing goods and services. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase or experience please follow the guidelines below or call our customer care team to assist you through the process.

Garage Door Part Supply Co. will accept a return on most new, unopened, or unused parts sold by us within 30 days of delivery. If for any reason you were shipped an incorrect item from Garage Door Part Supply Co. we will credit the return shipping costs.

The following items CANNOT be returned to garagedoorpartsupply.com:

  • All Torsion or Extension Springs
  • Any item not returned in its original packaging
  • Any Batteries
  • Electronic devices (logic boards, remotes, etc)
  • Parts that have been installed
  • Parts damaged by consumer or inclement weather

Note: No parts will be accepted for returns, warranties or refunds without a proper Return Material Authorization (RMA).

We have provided a simple online return form to obtain an RMA number. Please be sure to include this number on all parts being shipped back to Garage Door Part Supply Co. Please place the number in the box with the part along with on top of the box. The RMA will also need to be included in all initial and corresponding emails. Any part returned to Garage Door Part Supply Co. for any reason other than product defect or incorrect order fulfillment by the seller will be subject to either a $3.00 or 10% restocking fee. All items returned are subject to inspection and must be returns in unused condition with original packaging within 30 days of delivery.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper; however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account which you can create on our website (garagedoorpartsupply.com), view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item. Once this process is completed we will send you your RMA number to complete the transaction. When shipping back the product to garagedoorpartsupply.com please remember to use a freight that provides you with a “tracking” number and include this with your RMA in corresponding emails.

Cancellations

To cancel orders with garagedoorpartsupply.com simply email our customer care team at garagedoorpartsupply@gmail.com and we will assist you through the process. Please remember that because most orders are shipped within 24 hours your order could have been processed and shipped. In the case that this has occurred there will be either a $3.00 or 10% cancellation fee and any shipping fees will be non-refundable.

Exchanges

If for any reason you need to return a defective part and wish to exchange for the same part number complete our online return form (RMA) as listed above. Upon receiving your defective part we will test and determine whether or not the part is defective from the manufacturer. If the part is found to be defective we will ship out a replacement part at no cost. All parts must be exchanged within 30 days of receiving the product. Any initial shipping fees are non-refundable and are the responsibility of the consumer.

Damaged Items or Wrong Items

If you receive a part that has been damaged or received an incorrect part please email our customer care team at garagedoorpartsupply@gmail.com and we will assist you through the process. All damaged parts must be returned within 30 days of receiving the product.

 

Shipping Policy


At garagedoorpartsupply.com we will ship to virtually any address. Any orders that are placed by 12:00PM EST. Monday – Friday and by 11:00AM on Saturday will ship out that same day. All other orders will ship out the next business day. We do not ship orders on Sunday, Holidays, or if a payment has not been processed. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to national or international destinations.


When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items, locations, volume and weight. All shipping costs can be quoted on our online shopping cart prior to checkout. We do reserve the right to alter the shipping method due to volume or weight.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, ALL weights will be rounded up to the next full pound. Customer will be accountable for all applicable sales tax.

Our goal is to always provide our products to you, at a discount, as soon as possible. Any items out of stock or on back order will be shipped to you immediately upon receiving it from the manufacturer.
