  2. Exactly what I was looking for 5 Star Review

I spent a lot of time searching for a solution to hide the wires that run from the garage door opener to the "safety sensors". I stumbled across this website by accident and I placed an order for 4 of these channels (I have two garage door openers in my house). I am very happy to report that these channels fit very nicely on top of my T-rails and all my wires fit in there very nicely; all fittings were nice and snug. These were very easy to install, cheap and produced a very professional and beautiful look. My friends and family were not able to see how I routed the wires from the opener to the sensors until I explained the setup to them :)

GDPS: That is excellent. Happy to hear that you found everything so simple and are pleased with the end result. thanks for the feedback.

  3. Exactly what I was looking for 5 Star Review

The ceiling in my garage is vaulted as it follows the angle of the roof. The wires from the eyes were stapled to the ceiling as they ran diagonally from the top corners of the door to a point 4 feet above the opener then down the angle iron to the opener. This wire channel allowed me to run the wires along the top of the door to the T Rail, then along the top of the T Rail to the opener. No more ugly wires strung along the ceiling. My opener is a belt-driven LiftMaster 2500D.

GDPS: Wayne, thank you for the feedback. Sounds like the wire channel worked out great! That is awesome. I personally have this installed not only in my garage, but a couple rooms in my house to hide wires.

  4. Hide the wires 5 Star Review

This product is a slick way to hide the wires to the safety sensors and the wall switch of your garage door opener. It works on openers with the inverted 'T' beam. It is composed of a top and bottom channel made of plastic. The bottom slips over the beam and stays solidly in place. Then feed the wires (3 pair), one at a time, into the top channel. The wires disappear. I also purchased 1/4" plastic loom to cover the wires as they exit the channel to the sensors and the switch. Very pleased with the final results.

GDPS: Thank you for leaving your feedback on this product. We really like your ideas about using for the wall button and the photo eyes. This is especially nice on a finished garage. Actually this past weekend I painted a strip my wall color in the kitchen and hid the wires from my TV.

is a good way to clean up wiring for safety eyes at bottom of door

GDPS: Thats a great idea, thank you for sharing! Most folks only use that for on the top of the rail.
